Tower Top Amplifier for PCS Band

Communication Components, Inc. TowerTop Amplifier (TTA) system improves the sensitivity of base stations in locations where there is a significant amount of cable loss between the antenna and the base station. The TTA system is available for three sector, two branch diversity systems all packaged in single compact tower-top units.

The system is designed to be fully compatible with Ericsson and Nortel PCS Base Station Equipment. It represents a significant cost savings over alternative TTA solutions because it requires only a single coaxial cable between each sector antenna and the base station. An optional indoor Power Supply Unit (PSU) is available for systems that do not include DC voltage injection and alarms as part of the base station equipment.
